iPhone 17 Review: Entry-Level Model Is All You Need
Summary
The iPhone 17 is Apple's entry-level model for 2025 that finally closes the gap with Pro models through Apple Intelligence support, Camera Control button, and features like Center Stage and Dual Capture. It's a worthwhile upgrade from iPhone 14 and non-Pro iPhone 15 models, though iPhone 16 users can wait longer. The design feels like a natural evolution from previous generations with reliable performance.
Pros
- ✓Apple Intelligence support on entry-level model
- ✓Camera Control button for easier access
- ✓Dual Capture and Center Stage features included
- ✓Sleek design consistent with iPhone lineup
- ✓Significant upgrade path from iPhone 14 and iPhone 15
Cons
- ✕Limited appeal for iPhone 16 users
- ✕One reviewer found it doesn't inspire enthusiasm despite improvements
- ✕Only incremental updates after one year of use
