Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from your Google account. We store this in our database (Supabase) to manage your account and send you email digests.

We also collect the interest categories you select during onboarding so we can personalise your feed and digest emails.

We may log basic analytics such as page views and clicks to understand how the product is used. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use your information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account
• To personalise the gadget feed based on your interests
• To send you a weekly email digest of relevant gadgets (only if you sign up)
• To improve the product and fix bugs

3. Email communications

If you create an account and select interests, you will receive a weekly digest email. You can unsubscribe at any time by updating your interests at cravehub.com/onboarding or by emailing us at hello@cravehub.com.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase, which is hosted on AWS. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Row Level Security to ensure users can only access their own data.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI classification of gadget content
• Google OAuth — sign-in

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@cravehub.com. We will action this within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of CraveHub after changes constitutes acceptance.
